Where have you trained?
I graduated from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City. After graduation, I did an internship with Mark Thompson, one of the foremost trigger point acupuncturists in the city.
Do you have a specialty or favorite thing to treat?
Well, I spent many years acting, and now I am in a punk rock band, so I really like treating all kinds of musicians and performers. Everything from muscle pains to stage anxiety, I know how it feels to be up in front of people!
What???s your favorite service offered at City Acupuncture and why?
I like good old acupuncture, and I think it’s great that City Acupuncture is able to offer the service at as reasonable rate so people can come in as frequently as they need to get better.
Any tips for making the most of a visit to City Acupuncture?
Do your best to relax during acupuncture!
What should a person expect from you when they come in for an appointment?
I am really open and willing to explain what I’m doing, especially on a first visit or for someone who is new to the medicine. Also, I like it when people communicate with me during their acupuncture session, so I can adjust what I’m doing to fit their needs and comfort levels.
How do you use acupuncture in your personal life?
Well, like I said I’m in a punk rock band, so I always have some sort of back or neck pain. I get treated regularly, it helps a lot!
