Where have you trained?
I’m a PCOMer!!!! Started the program in Chicago and finished in NY in 2010. I’d love to study in China but that will be a few years from now.
Do you have a specialty or favorite thing to treat?
I like instant gratification so I’d say pain, particularly musculo-skeletal pain. Acupuncture often yields quick results when it comes to pain so that’s pretty satisfying! I also enjoy treating digestive issues. There’s nothing like helping someone have good “poops.”
What???s your favorite service offered at City Acupuncture and why?
The acu/massage combo. It’s like a 1-2 punch. That’s awesome!
Any tips for making the most of a visit to City Acupuncture?
Come with an open mind and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get better.
What should a person expect from you when they come in for an appointment?
They should expect a kind soul with a cheery disposition. Maybe a joke or two. If we can have a giggle together we’re off to a good start. A good rapport is key to a successful patient/practitioner relationship.
How do you use acupuncture in your personal life???
Acupuncture has permeated my life in so many ways. ??I get regular treatments, take herbs every day, eat the foods that are good for me, stay away from those that are not. Acupuncture has changed me for the better and I’m so grateful for it.
