As Clinic Director of the Fulton Street and East Village locations of City Acupuncture, I have treated thousands of patients in our community clinics and helped them achieve a wide range of health goals, from stress management, to injury rehabilitation, to support for anxiety and depression. I am enormously proud of the work we do to provide affordable, holistic care to our fellow New Yorkers.
Now, I am excited to bring all of that clinical experience to a new format: private, one-on-one sessions in our tranquil healing space in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.
I am in-network with UnitedHealthcare, Oxford, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Magnacare, and accept other plans out-of-network. In this space I am also offering advanced options for cosmetic acupuncture that include organic skincare and micro current therapy.
Acupuncture treats the body as a whole rather than focusing on individual symptoms. It works by stimulating the body to heal itself, using its own resources.
The most common reasons people get acupuncture is for pain, arthritis, insomnia, balance issues, headaches and anxiety but it can be used for so much more.
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction.
People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage
Through the micro-stimulation of points on the face your natural collagen and elastin production is built up, minimizing lines and wrinkles.
Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture sessions include facial needles, micro current therapy, an organic sheet mask, and facial cupping, facial gua sha, or facial massage.
Facial Gua Sha sessions at this location include an organic sheet mask.
